Roseworthy Campus

Agricultural excellence at the gateway to the state’s premier wine region

Situated on 1600 hectares of land, Adelaide University’s Roseworthy Campus is located 50 kilometres north of the city, just under an hour from the city centre. Originally established as Australia’s first agricultural college in 1883, the campus is home to our animal and veterinary science research and includes a fully operational livestock farm.

Roseworthy Campus features a range of modern agricultural teaching and research facilities, including an aquatic reserve. You can make use of convenient on-campus parking when you visit Roseworthy - available to staff, students and visitors.

Study

Enjoy hands-on learning in state-of-the art facilities, both indoors and outdoors. Students gain practical experience and training in laboratory and field-based studies using specialised equipment. Our well-equipped library features quiet study spaces and a comprehensive discipline specific collection for students, staff, graduates or researchers.

Eat

Maitidli Café caters to a range of tastes and dietary needs, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner during term. If you prefer to self-cater, student and staff kitchen areas are equipped with heat and eat facilities, including microwaves and boiling water so you can bring your own food.

Play

With outdoor courts, a 25m swimming pool and an on-site gym all available for use by students, staff or the community, there are plenty of opportunities to get active. The large outdoor barbecue area is a popular space for students to meet and socialise, plus there are a range of special interest clubs available to join.
