A merit-based top-up scholarship for eligible commencing graduate research candidates in medicine, law, commerce, economics or architecture. The successful applicant must also be in receipt of a major scholarship. Recipients will receive a top-up stipend of up to $10,000 per annum for up to 3.5 years full-time study.
To be eligible to hold the Scholarship, a candidate must:
The Scholarship will be awarded via a competitive selection process based on academic merit, research potential and relevance of academic research.
Where an eligible applicant is the lineal descendant of an Australian soldier or sailor who died or was blinded or was totally and permanently incapacitated as a result of his service in World War I, preference shall be given to that candidate.
Applicants who are a lineal descendant of an Australian soldier or sailor who died or was blinded or was totally and permanently incapacitated as a result of his service in World War I must provide evidence to the Adelaide University Graduate Research School by the scholarship round closing date. Please email this evidence to research.scholarships@adelaideuni.edu.au, include your application number and “Baillieu Supplementary Scholarship” in the header.
