And there's no rush to decide straight away – you'll have ample time to explore and discover what excites you.
The Clinical Trials major teaches you to design, develop and conduct clinical trials in hospitals, research organisations and pharmaceutical companies. You'll build a solid foundation in cell biology and biochemistry, and explore the principles of pharmacology, including drug classification, formulation and administration.
Discover the toxicities associated with drug development – from discovery and design through to preclinical testing and clinical trials. Gain an understanding of biostatistics and how to apply statistical research methods to health research. Learn to manage data to ensure accuracy and integrity. Build on this knowledge with a choice of electives in cancer diagnoses and treatments, infection and immunity, data management and more.
