Course overview
This cross-disciplinary research project aims to equip students with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for developing, realising and evaluating socially engaged, site-specific contemporary art projects in collaboration with staff and students across art disciplines and other ostensibly non-art-related fields, including where appropriate, industry and community partners. Projects will be developed through practice-based, academic, and social research methods in response to briefs and provocations co-developed by students, teaching staff, visiting artists and academics, and in consultation with community or industry partners.
