Course overview

The aim is to equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental statistical principles and methodologies essential for analysing data across various disciplines. Through theoretical exploration and practical applications, learners will develop the skills necessary to formulate hypotheses, design experiments, collect and interpret data, and draw meaningful conclusions using statistical methods. By the end of the course, learners will have gained proficiency in applying a range of statistical techniques. Additionally, learners will learn how to utilise statistical software packages to effectively analyse real-world data sets. Overall, this course aims to empower learners with the statistical knowledge and analytical capabilities required to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to research and decision-making processes in their respective fields.
