Course overview
Surveys are central to understanding society and making effective, efficient and fair decisions. In this course students build upon the statistical modelling skills developed in previous years to specifically consider planning and analysis of different challenges faced in survey data. Students will gain skills in statistical tools specific to surveys including sample design, imputation techniques, development of weights, weighted analysis and model-based alternatives. This course will contribute to the program objectives of developing specialist knowledge and applying that knowledge to problems that arise in business and society.
