Course overview

The aim of this course is to equip students with a foundational understanding of frequentist statistical methods and to develop practical skills in using R for data analysis. Through this course, students will gain a working knowledge of how to summarise and interpret data, perform hypothesis testing, and fit linear models to data, while gaining proficiency in R programming for effective and reproducible statistical analysis. Knowledge and skills gained in this course will provide the necessary grounding for further study of statistical concepts and techniques in later courses in the program.
