Course overview
This course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to conduct basic statistical analyses and interpret results correctly and contextually. In this course you will build a foundation for planning and conducting statistical analyses appropriate to a range of research questions and study designs. You will develop critical thinking skills to appraise the quality of published research, and practical skills in the analysis of data using modern statistical software. This course prepares you with skills to investigate population health issues, with ready transferability of these skills to other settings in the health and medical sciences.
