Course overview
The aim of this course is to provide an advanced understanding of how professionals identify and implement solutions using a scientifically rigorous approach. Building upon the skills of gathering evidence and its critical analysis, students will learn how to translate and implement findings in a variety of settings in an ethical and culturally responsive way. By examining how research is communicated and translated into practice, learners will develop planning and problem-solving skills essential for future workplaces. This course aligns with the program’s intent to provide a solid understanding of communicating research effectively and broadly outside of the sciences to inform good evidence-based practice in industry and the community.
