Course overview

To provide students with an advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of the economic, social and environmental factors that influence and constrain projects throughout a project life cycle.

Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of economic, social and environment contexts that influence and constrain typical projects.
  • Appraise and illustrate the successful application of sustainability principles to various projects.
  • Discriminate and utilise advanced skills in analysing Australian and international assessments and approaches with particular reference to trends in sustainability.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of various sustainability metrics, assessments, indexes, indicators and parameters are involved for a comprehensive approach to project implementation.
