Course overview

In this course, students will advance their research skills and knowledge by learning quantitative and qualitative research design and apply them to topics relating to population and migration. Students will learn the importance of a robust research methodology by conducting a literature review, acquire knowledge and skills on a suite of quantitative and qualitative research methods and techniques and develop their understanding of ethical considerations and requirements. Upon completing this course, students will be prepared to formulate a research proposal and undertake an independent or group research project.
