Course overview

The aim of this course is to introduce students to a study of the physical world and to develop their knowledge and understanding of some of the basic laws and principles of physics and their practical applications, in preparation for the commencement of a course of study at tertiary level.

Course learning outcomes

  • Describe, both orally and in writing, relevant physical phenomena clearly and accurately in the appropriate terminology.
