Course overview
The aim of this course is to expand a student's knowledge and understanding of the health care system with particular reference to the features that directly influence the practice of pharmacy.
Course learning outcomes
- Apply knowledge of health care delivery and funding in Australia.
- Demonstrate the principles of evidence based medicine and the quality use of medicine.
- Apply clinical pharmacy knowledge to meet the therapeutic needs of patients.
- Discuss system provision and improvement to ensure medication safety.
- Discuss the philosophical perspectives of ethics for health professionals in clinical practice.

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
