Course overview

In this course, students will develop an understanding of the aged care sector and importance of key practice skills. Content includes: 1. Introduction to university study skills and online learning; 2. Australian Aged Care context; 3. Essential skills including: first aid, CPR, manual handling, Infection control, hand hygiene; 4. Assessment of cognitive, physical, sensory and social functioning.
