Course overview
This course engages with contemporary issues at the intersection of media, culture and politics. Students will develop an understanding of the relationship between media, politics and culture, through engagement with conceptual, theoretical and evaluative models. This course challenges students to think critically about social and political aspects of media activism by engaging with a range of real-world examples and case studies, such as radical activism, government communication and social movement media.
