Specialised study in an area of expertise of an internal or visiting academic. Topics will be at an advanced level and of significance in contemporary applied mathematical research. Students will gain knowledge and skills required for research in this topic area. The specific choice of topic will be influenced by current research activities and projects within the School of Mathematical Sciences.
