Course overview

This course provides students with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of industry expectations around the critical evaluation, research methodology and preparation of industry reports. The course provides a pathway to further learning and development after completion of the iMBA, such as taking DBA or PhD programs for further study.  

Course learning outcomes

  • Acquire and reflect upon advanced knowledge of a range of principles and methods of management research relevant to high level organisational contexts
  • Critically apply learning from a range of fields of business in the iMBA program (including aspects of accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, leadership, organisational change, management and strategy) to strategic management issues in an organisation
  • Take ethical action and social responsibility as a professional and a citizen
