Course overview

This course will build on the foundations of the introduction to Torts in Tort Law. The aim of the course is to focus on specific areas of tort law, including: recovery for economic loss, breach of statutory duty, manufacturers' liability, statutory compensation schemes, privacy and other emerging torts. The course will include a critical analysis of the role of policy in the development of the law and provide an opportunity for students to critically analyse the developments of the law.
