Course learning outcomes
- Apply legal concepts to explain competing interpretations of relevant WTO treaties and dispute resolution procedures.
- Analyse case studies of the process and impact of international trade law upon Australian producers of goods and services.
- Contrast and evaluate different models of treaty negotiation and interpretation surrounding issues of labour, environment, property and food security.
- Analyse the implications of the law on international sales, including how individual transactions are linked to achieve a commercial objective.
- Identify and critique the application of current international trade law.
