Introduction to Enterprise Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning; Functional Areas and Business Processes; Business Process Reengineering; Organisational Structures; Master Data; Material Management; Production Planning; Data Analytics in SAP HANA; Customer Relationship Management; Supply Chain Management; Sales and Distribution; Implementation of ERP Systems; Accounting in ERP; Human Resources in ERP; Security in ERP; Landscape Testing of ERP Systems.
Course learning outcomes
- To apply Enterprise Resource Planning principles to real-world use cases to manage business processes and make better operational decisions.
- To analyse as-is business processes in an enterprise, identify their weaknesses and improve them by designing the introduction of an ERP implementation to gain a competitive advantage.
- To critically evaluate and apply information technology tools and methodologies that support Business Process Reengineering within an enterprise that has already implemented an SAP system and minimize end user impact concerns.
- To apply data analytical tools and methodologies in combination with ERP sourced data for improved decision making.
