Course overview
The aim of this course is to provide students with the theoretical foundations, knowledge and skills to support the development of digital literacy capabilities in their clients in a variety of contexts.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of the major theoretical and methodological approaches to studies of digital literacy.
- Apply digital literacy theory and practice in library and information settings.
- Analyse digital literacy in libraries and information settings.
- Demonstrate an awareness of emerging and topical issues in information and digital literacy research and evaluation of programs.
- Develop and prepare a grant application in libraries and information setting.
