Course overview

To analyse contemporary cybercrime activities, the nature and form of digital evidence, and current cyber laws, privacy and ethics.

 This course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape governing information technology and privacy, encompassing Australian and international laws, policies, and industry practices. Through critical analysis and evaluation, you will develop the skills to assess the sufficiency and effectiveness of existing legal frameworks in addressing cyber-related challenges faced by government, business, and society. By exploring legal, ethical and technological perspectives, learners will be able to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, fostering a holistic approach to navigating the complexities of cyber law, policy, and privacy.
