Course overview
This course will extend the students programming skills to build and deploy dynamic websites. Students will construct database driven websites using web frameworks, JavaScript, web APIs and standard data interchange formats. In this course students will learn how to build public facing web applications that are updated via database and data interchange formats.
Course learning outcomes
- Design interactive websites using appropriate web technologies and tools
- Develop database driven web applications using a range of web development frameworks
- Develop web applications using object relation mapping
- Create web services to provide application access to dynamic data
- Developing front-end dynamic library implementations
- Build applications that cater for stakeholder needs
