Course overview
This course will develop skills in data visualisation and communicating with data. Infrastructure for data visualisation, human side of visualisation, design and construction of visualisation, animations and user interactivity, exploratory approaches to discover insights about data, visual analytics software.
Course learning outcomes
- Describe and critique common data visualisation approaches to discover insights from data.
- Create data visualisations using visualisation software.
- Use appropriate data visualisation techniques when exploring data and communicating results of analytics.
