Course overview

This course will provide the theoretical and practical knowledge of business operations with a focus on the effective use of information technology. In this course students will gain advanced skills and knowledge in the following areas: business leadership, transformation, culture, behaviour, ethics, and finance; professional communication; group work fundamentals; project management; corporate governance.

Course learning outcomes

  • Compare the business structure and operations for organisations including commercial, government and not-for-profit.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills for a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrate awareness of different management and control frameworks and their impact on the Project Management discipline.
