Course overview
This course aims to equip students with the skills to navigate strategic challenges in complex international markets and supply chains. Emphasising a strategic perspective, it examines conceptual frameworks explaining the interplay between business environments and global strategies. Through applied research projects, students analyse key strategic decisions like market entry and expansion, enhancing their ability to address real-world challenges. The course explores how enterprises leverage capabilities for competitive advantage, covering topics such as market assessment, competitive strategies, competition and collaborations, and corporate governance. Utilising problem-based learning and case studies, it provides practical insights for strategic decision-making in international business contexts.
