Course overview

This course develops students’ advanced knowledge of the theory and practice of leading and managing organisational change, including the link between organisational change and sustainability as well as the stakeholders, environments, approaches, politics, and processes involved. This course introduces students to the concept of change; the implication of change on organisations, the organisation's strategy, structure, leadership, culture, and its people. The issues surrounding change are neither simple nor linear. More often it is complex and messy; with no simple quick fixes. This course encourages students to look at various perspectives to managing change and guides them to develop a change plan aligned to the specific contexts and conditions of their organisation.
