Course overview
This course acts as an authentic industry-led capstone design experience and will utilise real projects provided by industry with industrial representatives acting as clients to the students. In this course, students will need to consolidate knowledge from across their discipline programs to undertake real engineering product and/or system design projects from the conceptual phase through to the production of design drawings or digital prototypes. Students are expected to evaluate and demonstrate feasibility and impact of their conceptual and detailed designs. Significant emphasis will be placed on technology, safety, social, environmental, international, cultural, ethical, and economic contexts applicable to each project.
- Design Project Initiation
- Design Methodology
- Design Evaluation
- Design Presentation And Communication
