Course overview
This course aims to provide students with the knowledge of Industry 4.0 methodologies and practices. It will cover principal concepts like digital twins, cyber-physical systems integration, and the industrial Internet of Things, illustrating their disruptive potential and transformative impact on industries. students will develop the skills necessary to analyse, evaluate, and implement Industry 4.0 solutions within organizational contexts, fostering innovation and competitiveness. This course aligns with the program goals by fostering engineering knowledge, complex problem-solving abilities, and the capacity for professional communication and teamwork in the context of emergent technological paradigms.
