Course overview
This is Part 2 of 2 of the Engineering Internship courses. The aim of Part 1 is to equip learners with the skills necessary to complete an industry-based research project. Both Parts 1 and 2 of these courses will equip learners with the skills necessary for engineering professionals to negotiate, plan, execute, and communicate the outcomes of an engineering research project within an industrial environment. Part 2 specifically entails completing the comprehensive research project situated in an industry setting. It aims to fulfill the learning outcomes of both the Professional Engineer Engagement with Professional Practice and Engineering Research Project B/C courses, merging practical industry exposure with academic research. Selection for this internship is merit-based, focusing on academic and interview performance.
