Course overview

To present the fundamental principles of mobile communications and their underpinning technologies. Content includes: Fundamentals of mobile cellular networks; Propagation and channel models in wireless transmission; Diversity techniques in wireless transmission; Principles and performance of advanced transmission schemes (spread spectrum, OFDM) and wireless access (CDMA, OFDMA,SC-FDMA); Principles of multiple antenna technologies.
