This course develops knowledge of the Australian Curriculum: The Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Languages. It provides students with knowledge to plan, teach, and assess learning in these areas.

Course learning outcomes

  • Analyse and make cross curriculum connections within a broad understanding of the Arts, HaSS and Languages curricula for early years and primary learners
  • Explore and critique pedagogies for the Arts, HaSS and Languages learning areas
  • Design and evaluate teaching sequences for the Arts, HaSS and Languages learning areas, recognising the diversity of learners and specificity and interconnections of learning areas
