Course overview

This course aims to enhance the student's understanding of the natural world: exploring the natural history of Adelaide and greater Adelaide regions, examining ecosystems, relationships within and between communities, and analyse ways humans have co-existed with the natural environment. Through a place-based learning approach, students will undertake field inquiries to evaluate the ecological “health” (biodiversity, habitats) of local sites and propose actions to promote sustainable futures for humans and non-humans alike.
