Course overview
This course is designed to assist beginning teachers to encounter and reflect upon classroom practice to achieve insight and responsiveness in the flow of student interactions. You will examine the various elements that combine to maintain and foster a positive classroom environment and master a range of teacher actions that build the environment as an effective context to encourage learning. Streamable video clips of unedited classroom footage provide rich, real world discussion points. Insights are then applied through your own teaching in a simulated classroom.
