Course learning outcomes
- Analyse the complex and interconnected factors that influence skilled performance across different types of sports, for participants ranging from novice to elite levels
- Evaluate key learning experiences in teaching and coaching that promote inclusion, engagement, success, and enjoyment in sports
- Critically evaluate contemporary approaches to teaching and coaching sport, including key principles, processes, practices, and underpinning theories for engaging and developing skilled players
- Apply pedagogical content knowledge from Play Practice to plan and teach a series of engaging, progressive, success-oriented learning tasks in a sport
