Course overview
This course investigates evidence-based approaches to improving wellbeing, emphasising ensuring students feel safe, respected and culturally included. Students will analyse and critique how to apply developments in wellbeing education in diverse contexts, including how data can be used to improve professional practice and learning and teaching strategies. The course examines philosophical underpinnings of wellbeing education, scientifically informed approaches, understanding wellbeing measurement and its impact on learning and teaching. Students will learn about various theories of wellbeing and flourishing that are relevant to education worldwide.
