Course overview
The course aims to familiarise students with key digital technologies concepts and content as outlined in relevant curricula. Students will develop their knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in planning and implementing digital technology-based learning experiences for students from foundation to year 6.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate understanding of concepts, structure and content within the Digital Technologies subject
- Plan and design teaching resources to enhance students’ Digital Technologies knowledge, understanding and practice of processes and skills
- Develop, apply and critically reflect on the skills and resources required to support teaching in the Digital Technologies learning area
- Design effective digital technologies learning experiences for children in Foundation to Year 6, demonstrating understanding of curriculum requirements and innovative teaching strategies

If you are continuing in a program you commenced prior to 1 January 2021, or are commencing an Honours degree relating to an undergraduate degree you commenced prior to 1 January 2021, you may be charged a different Student Contribution amount from the amount displayed below. Please check the Student Contribution bands for continuing students here. If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
