Course overview
In this course, students will develop preservice teachers' knowledge, skills and professional expertise and apply their skills in design and technology education to meet the identified needs of a range of stakeholders through engagement in placed based learning projects. Preservice teachers will extend their knowledge and work collaboratively within professional environments to liaise, negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and meet a diverse range of design-based needs. For example, preservice teachers may work with schools to develop school gardens such as those established through the community programs. Preservice teachers will refine and apply their planning for teaching skills to collaboratively produce scoped and sequenced teaching packages.

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
