Course overview

In this course, students will analyse and interpret a range of representational and presentational texts with appropriate content, methodologies, materials and curricula to implement the teaching and physical workshopping of scripts within the secondary educational environment. Students will explore a series of representational and presentational texts from a range of countries and historical timeframes. Texts will be analysed and workshopped through rehearsal techniques, drama-based pedagogies, teaching processes and methodologies in conjunction with the requirements of the curriculum and SACE. Students will attend two contrasting theatre productions either individually or as a group.
