Course overview

This course will develop students' capabilities to operate effectively within a small group and to experience strategies for teaching and learning teamwork and personal responsibility. Students will analyse the complexities of small group functioning and appraise strategies for sustaining interdependence, positive group climate, culture and practices to promote group cohesion and effectiveness. Students will apply 'choice' theory and strategies to develop personal responsibility for individual change and methods for influencing group functioning using reflective evaluation to facilitate learning.
