Course overview
The aim of this course is to provide students with an overview of, and practical experience in, science communication methodologies relevant to topics related to Nano- and Biomaterials, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Agricultural and Food Science, Environmental Science, Earth Science and Ecology. Science communication history, methods, and exemplars; practical guidance on science communication techniques; science communication in the context of scientific practice and the development of a science career.

- Synthesise knowledge from various forms of Science Communication
- Apply a chosen Science Communication technique to disseminate an Honours project proposal
- Critically reflect upon the chosen Science Communication technique to enhance the delivery
- Identify the principles, responsibilities and development opportunities of a professional researcher
