Course overview

This course will provide an integrated understanding and application of modern surveying and spatial technologies. This course incorporates a broad overview of mapping, surveying, cartography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), and spatial technology integration.

Course learning outcomes

  • Examine the fundamentals of surveying and spatial sciences to recognise their practical applications and limitations.
