Course overview
This course provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the causes and effects of climate change and explores their impacts on organisational management and leadership, business strategy, and business conduct. The course examines current climate science and climate economics, and explores governmental, intergovernmental and corporate responses to one of the most significant challenges of modern times.
Students completing the course develop a body of knowledge that:
Contributes to a comprehensive and integrated application of climate change knowledge to recent developments in the field of senior organisational management and leadership in international business environments.

Course learning outcomes
- Acquire a body of knowledge of, and critically reflect on, theoretical and practice-based principles of climate change and the impacts these have on organisational management and leadership.
- Critically assess and evaluate different approaches to business process improvement and the use of strategy-led balanced scorecards and dashboards in aligning business strategy for optimisation of business process improvement initiatives.
- Apply principles of business process improvement to organisational management and leadership in international business environments.
