Course overview

The aim of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a virtual industry-based experience. The course aims to enhance students' professional competencies, business consulting and career-readiness skills. Project orientation incorporating professional conduct, ethical responsibilities, student and employer responsibilities, and occupational health and safety practice; supervision and report by a workplace mentor.

  • Apply discipline based business knowledge to a professional work environment.
  • Effectively use data and information generated by the business and from other sources.
  • Build clarity on post study career options and selection and success requirements for chosen career path.
  • Reflect on their experience and how this relates to the enhancement of their professional competencies and relevant employability skills.
