Course overview

This course equips students with a comprehensive understanding of management fundamentals, emphasising leadership principles, organisational change, and decision-making processes. Through exploring management theory, organisational environments, and ethical considerations related to diversity and cultural perspectives, learners gain a holistic grasp of the managerial landscape. They will apply key functions - planning, organising and controlling - in practical contexts, focusing on concepts, such as motivation and teamwork. The course provides a framework for navigating modern management complexities and leadership challenges and preparing students to have the knowledge to appreciate diverse organisational settings.
