Course overview

The course aims to equip students with an advanced understanding of digital design and construction methodologies, integrating 3D, 4D, and 5D techniques within the management of building and infrastructure projects. Content delves into utilising digital construction approaches, emphasising Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles and Immersive Virtual Reality Headsets. Learners will develop skills in the life cycle and system thinking, nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for effective project management. Emphasis is placed on communication, teamwork, and autonomy, pivotal for collaborative work. By addressing accreditation requirements and emphasising environmental sustainability, students are prepared to navigate challenges and drive innovation in the construction industry.
