Course overview
This course aims to build students’ understanding on three important aspects of construction management, namely time, quality and risk. The course delves into activity-on-node and activity-on arrow networks and related optimisation techniques to develop construction schedule plans, the quality management principals and risk assessment methods. By linking time, quality and risks of construction projects, this course enables learners to develop system thinking perspectives and problem-solving skills essential for managing projects considering various aspects of construction. This course aligns with the program's intent to provide a comprehensive understanding of construction management, preparing learners to excel in a global market.
