  • Structural Components of Low-Rise Construction
  • Non-structural components of Low-Rise Construction

Course learning outcomes

  • Apply communication knowledge to identify the principal components of residential and other low-rise construction.
  • Apply research skills to communicate and report on building elements of residential and low-rise construction.
  • Produce drawings, specifications and an architectural model based on knowledge of the construction of footings and substructures, structural members, materials and systems, and their connections in residential and low-rise construction.
