Course overview
This course will provide students with foundational knowledge of the musculoskeletal anatomy of the human body and the strategies for learning anatomy at a university level. Anatomical terminology, structures of the muscular and skeletal system and approaches to learning anatomy.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate effective use of materials and resources to support the learning of anatomy
- Discuss and utilise correct anatomical terms and conventions
- Identify the anatomical landmarks and structures of the musculoskeletal system
- Discuss and explain anatomical structures with the aid of anatomical resources
