Course overview
This course provides students with a broad understanding of the major physiological systems of the human body, including the structure and function of major organ systems, the relationship between cell/tissue structure and their function, and the importance of homeostasis in these processes.
Course learning outcomes
- Develop a range of skills and strategies suited to learning physiology
- Describe physiological concepts and principles that explain the function of the human body
- Explain the importance of maintaining homeostasis for the functioning of physiological systems
